KEYK is an indie-rock band from the city of Tagum-Mindanao. Almost like a fireworks show, this fantastic band exploded onto the local music scene last January 2007, bringing to the forefront a strangely addictive groove that'll definitely cause you to party bump, swerve and grind all over the dance floor. Keyk is vibrant and their energy level is INSANE, expressing an eclectic electro-pop rock alternative attitude that is epitomized by badass bass mixed with spaceout guitar effects.

Keyk is composed of 5 proud Tagumeños: Mclouie Felipe/ Michael Rulite on drums, Biboi Guangco on guitars, Roni Utlang on guitars and back up vox, Ivan Padilla on bass and back up vox, and Joseph Pacon on lead vox.
Keyk has an immensely wide array of sounds--and you can bet your sweet bippy it comes in different flavors too! It's a formidable collective of various inspirations that all fuse into the singular identity of tight, ubpeat and infectiously groovy music that they've come to be associated with in the local scene.
"As of now, we have 13 original compositions, some of which are famous in the local music scene. We have released one EP independently and have various competition wins.
We have recently invaded Manila, having been able to do gigs in various establishments. We are currently back home and will soon come back there to try and let the national scene hear what Mindanao musicians are capable of." - KEYK
