Stolen At Gunpoint

Picture

Started as a three-piece four years ago, doing covers of Chevelle and Deftones. Now a five-piece playing hardcore/metal the way we like it.

We want to position ourselves in the middle of forward-thinking music, where what we play is not a reflection of current trends both mainstream and underground, and will never be an attempt to be pretentious virtuosos at our instruments and musicianship, but rather a manifestation of where we are at a point in time as a band and as individuals.

Most of the guys in the band have day jobs, hence the rarity of material we produce. However, we have about eight original arrangements, four of which were written some two and a half years back and the other half about a year ago. It's really hard to write the songs we want ourselves playing in the middle of familial and occupational duties but we strive nonetheless. This is of course our release and our collective exhale to the mighty connected consciousness of music. Although inconspicuous in the face of the heavyweights, we strive to breathe regardless.
